Theater arts invite powerful self-expression.

It is our mission to provide a caring and creative community for artists with disabilities to claim the stage with distinction.

“We are grateful for having Theatre Adventure, it is a wonderful ‘meeting point,’ where talent, art, respect and affection are combined in a wonderful way. Thanks to all the members of Theater Adventure.”

Coming Up! 〰️ Spring Shows 〰️

We are on the road with shimmering anticipation for our Spring shows.

Thank you for joining us as we step into a new year of theater filled with exciting opportunities for artists with disabilities. Our talented performers are enthusiastically developing new skills as we prepare for our two upcoming spring productions. The Wednesday Troupe is producing an old tale of friendship, magic, and courage, The Prince and the Goblins that will be performed May 7, 8, and 9.  The Thursday Troupe will be working on performance skills in preparation for a Variety Show Coffee House, Friday, April 4.  The Coffee House is designed to feature each performer as they "claim the stage" with passion and skill.

Book a gig with the Traveling Troupe!

The Traveling Troupe offers workshops and performances for school groups, advocacy programs and initiatives, library programming, arts organizations, civic groups, and special community events. All of the Traveling Troupe members are adults with disabilities with many years of experience as performers. They are paid for their work as professional actors with the Traveling Troupe.

Their workshops include role plays, conversations about being an advocate for one's self and others, belonging, and ways to claim one’s life with pride and confidence. Workshop participants have expressed how much they enjoyed the experience and appreciate what they learned.
